💡 Pro Tip: PPR vs Standard

Standard leagues reward touchdowns and yardage. PPR (Point Per Reception) leagues give bonus points for catches, making pass-catching backs and slot receivers more valuable. Half-PPR offers a balanced approach. Use our calculator to see the difference!

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common fantasy football questions and scoring clarifications.

🏆 What's the difference between Standard, Half-PPR, and Full-PPR? +
Standard scoring gives no points for receptions. Half-PPR gives 0.5 points per catch. Full-PPR gives 1 point per reception. PPR formats increase the value of pass-catching running backs and possession wide receivers.
🎯 How are passing touchdowns calculated? +
Passing touchdowns are worth 4 points each in standard fantasy football. Some leagues use 6 points per passing TD, but this calculator uses the standard 4-point setting.
🤲 Why are receptions valuable in PPR leagues? +
In PPR leagues, each reception adds points regardless of yardage. This makes consistent pass-catchers like Cooper Kupp or Austin Ekeler extremely valuable even on low-yardage games. It adds another layer of strategy to drafting and lineup decisions.
💔 Do fumbles lost always get negative points? +
Yes, fumbles lost result in -2 fantasy points. If a player fumbles but their team recovers, there's no penalty. Only lost fumbles (turnovers) count against the player's score.
📊 How is PPG (Points Per Game) calculated? +
PPG = Total Fantasy Points ÷ Games Played. This helps compare players who may have missed games due to injury or bye weeks. A player with 30 PPG over 3 games is more valuable than one with 20 PPG over 5 games.
🔄 Does this calculator support defensive players (IDP)? +
Currently, this calculator focuses on offensive skill positions (QB, RB, WR, TE). Individual Defensive Player (IDP) scoring is coming soon. For now, enjoy our comprehensive offensive fantasy points calculator!
📱 Can I save my leaderboard for later? +
Absolutely! Your leaderboard is automatically saved in your browser's local storage. Players will remain even after closing or refreshing the page. You can also export your leaderboard as a PDF using the "Download as PDF" button.
